Email is becoming the preferred method of accessing faxes, and many people are finding it more convenient than email, said John Sutter, a certified public accountant with the law firm Sullivan & Cromwell.
Sutter says people should try to find an email address they can send faxes to, rather than relying on the internet.
“It’s been quite common for us to send fax messages to fax machines, but there is nothing more convenient for the customer than email.
The fax machine can be a little more complicated than email,” he said.
“It’s just a matter of finding a good address.”
